Edutrain develops a network of companies and organizations across Vietnam to provide internships for international students in hospitality, tourism, culinary arts and hotel management. We work with each student to craft an individualized placement that meets their professional, academic and personal aspirations. Interns are assigned a local "buddy" who provides support and helps integrate them into Vietnamese life. We strongly encourage immersion through city exploration, excursions and community service — because an internship here is also a residency.

06 — QUALIFICATIONS

Who we're looking for.

Academic Background

Interns with a background and experience within their chosen industry are strongly preferred. Additional requirements may apply depending on your host site and preferred duties.

Skills & Motivation

Interns are expected to demonstrate responsibility, professional motivation, flexibility and effective communication. Relevant coursework or professional experience is preferred when possible.

Visa & language essentials.

E-Visa Application

International travelers - including citizens of the U.S., Canada, Australia and all other non-exempt nations - must apply online for an E-visa on the official Vietnam Immigration website prior to arrival. Valid up to 90 days, single or multiple entry.

Visa Exemptions

Citizens of Switzerland, the UK, EU nations, Japan, South Korea and select ASEAN countries are granted visa-free entry for up to 45 days. Longer stays require the 90-day E-visa.

Language

English is the language of communication for all internships - near-native professional level required. Knowledge of Vietnamese is helpful and appreciated, but not required.
